Dining Options:

Open log fires greet diners at the Resort's convivial restaurant which specialises in home-style cooking and hearty meals.  Enjoy a superb alfresco lunch on the balcony, a picnic in the mountains or a braai under the African sky.  Not to be missed is the "Flying Trout", a merry little pub, which exudes warmth and friendliness to all who call in before retiring for the night.

Lakeview Restaurant
Overlooking the resort's private lake with a continuous mountain view, breakfast is served from 7h00 to 10h30 daily where you will find a continental spread with croissants, danishes, cold cuts, yoghurts, cereals and cold fish dishes.  Choose from a selection of juices or squeeze the freshest juice from ripe oranges or grapefruits.  Our trained chefs will prepare omelettes, fried eggs, scrambled eggs or poached eggs to your liking. For the sweet tooth we have fresh American style pancakes cooked while you wait. Then help yourself to a wide array of accompaniments from sausages to vegetarian options. Breakfast can be enjoyed on our terrace, while basking in the serenity of our indigenous, landscaped gardens.

Dinner is a gastronomic feast of favourites featuring, individual salads, a roast, casseroles, curries, vegetarian selections and our famous trout cooking station, not forgetting mouth-watering desserts for your indulgent side.  Dinner is served from 18h30 to 22h00 Sunday to Thursday and from 18h00 to 22h30 Fridays and Saturday. Our extensive buffet changes daily which guarantees you the freshest quality and a new experience every night of your stay with us.

Lakeview Terrace
If you prefer a later start to the day, Light Meals are available on the Lakeview Terrace from 11h00 to 17h00.  An appealing menu for young and old, you are sure to find what your taste buds are calling for. We also offer a menu down by the pool on weekends and during school holidays so as not to disrupt the fun and relaxation of your family and friends.
